Manchester United defender Chris Smalling was reportedly spotted singing football chants in the street following a night out with friends at the weekend.

The 24-year-old is expected to be out for a month with a hamstring injury, but he appeared to be all smiles when he came out of a bar in Manchester's Spinningfield district in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Smalling outstretched his arms and sang, "we're Man United, we'll do what we want," at around 3.15am.
