Sir Alex Ferguson 'out of hospital'

Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly left hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage at the start of last month.

On May 6, Manchester United announced that their legendary manager had undergone emergency surgery and would spend a period in intensive care.

The 76-year-old later came out of intensive care but remained in hospital to continue his recovery but according to The Sun, the Scot has now left hospital.

A source allegedly said that Ferguson was 'back on his feet' and suggested that the United legend was still making progress with the hope of returning to Old Trafford for the start of next season.

Ferguson recorded 895 wins from 1,500 matches in charge during his 27 years in the dugout at United.
