Manchester United's Wayne Rooney takes in London sites with family

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney took in all the tourist sites of London with wife Coleen and son Kai following his duties with England at Wembley.

The 26-year-old spent a night at the theatre watching Shrek the Musical after the Three Lions won 5-0 against San Marino on Friday.

The Rooneys decided to extend their stay in the capital by visiting Buckingham Palace, shopping in Harrods and dining at Chinese restaurant Hakkasan.

Coleen posted a photo on Twitter of the family standing outside the famous palace gates with the caption, "Great weekend in London!".

Rooney has now rejoined the England squad, who are in Warsaw to take on Poland in their 2014 World Cup qualifier.
