Wayne Rooney 'spotted playing golf at exclusive Surrey course'

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly been spotted playing golf at an exclusive club in Surrey.

The England international is currently nursing a hamstring injury, which forced him home from United's pre-season tour of Asia and Australia.

The 27-year-old travelled to London last weekend to play a round at the member's only Queenwood Golf Club, according to the Daily Star.

The club, which is just 10 miles away from Chelsea's training ground, is believed to have a number of Blues players as members.
