Manchester United's Wayne Rooney mingles with fans at an Egyptian bar

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has taken a break from his warm-weather training trip in Egypt to meet local fans at a bar.

The England international was sent to the country last week to speed up recovery from a groin injury, which put him out of United's 2-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday.

During his trip, Rooney, who headed to Egypt with the club's fitness coach, was pictured happily posing for photos with a large group of local fans.

Rooney could return to the team for their Premier League clash against Chelsea this Sunday.
