Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has travelled to this year's Glastonbury festival by helicopter.

The England international, who headed to the event in Somerset in 2011, has returned this year to the event with his wife Coleen and a group of friends.

Rooney's cousin Claire posted a photo of the gang standing in front of a blue helicopter before embarking on their journey to Glastonbury.

After the festival, reports have claimed that Rooney will meet new United manager David Moyes to discuss his future at Old Trafford.
