Wayne Rooney reportedly encourages men to have hair treatments after he underwent the procedure in 2011.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly encouraged men to get hair transplants after he underwent the procedure in 2011.

The England international decided on having the treatment after his hair began to thin and sought help from experts on London's Harley Street.

According to The Sun, since Rooney underwent the hair transplant, there has been an increase of 25% in men having similar treatments.

Reports have claimed that Rooney spent £30,000 on the procedure.
