Wayne Rooney brands former teammate Anders Lindegaard "annoying"

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has described former teammate Anders Lindegaard as "annoying".

Rooney worked alongside the goalkeeper for five years before Lindegaard moved on to West Bromwich Albion in the summer.

During an interview with Sport magazine, Rooney was asked who the worst teammate to be stuck in a lift with would be, to which he replied: "Anders Lindegaard. He's just annoying."

Lindegaard managed just 19 Premier League appearances during his five-year spell at Old Trafford.
