Anthony Martial wife deletes Instagram post after embarrassing error

Anthony Martial has gone down well at Manchester United so far, but the Frenchman's wife has committed a social media faux pas following an embarrassing error this weekend.

In an effort to support her husband and his new club, the 19-year-old's spouse Samantha took to Instagram on Saturday ahead of the Red Devils' trip to Watford.

She reportedly intended on posting a picture of Old Trafford, but the striker's other half accidentally uploaded a snap of the Emirates - the home of United's rivals Arsenal.

Samantha promptly deleted the post after being shamed for the gaffe, but not before a number of Twitter users secured evidence of the blunder.

Martial has netted five times for United in all competitions after becoming the most expensive teenager of all time by securing a £36m move from Monaco in September.
