Manchester United players celebrate Christmas at Rio Ferdinand's restaurant

The Manchester United squad have celebrated Christmas with a trip to teammate Rio Ferdinand's restaurant.

Members of the first team, including Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Ryan Giggs were among those in attendance at Rosso in Manchester, along with manager David Moyes.

Many of the players attended with their wives and girlfriends ahead of a busy run of fixtures over the festive period.

United currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.
