Man United 'criticised for failing to rid Old Trafford of mice infestation'

Manchester United are criticised for failing to rid Old Trafford of its mice infestation.

Council inspectors have criticised Manchester United for failing to put in "adequate procedures" to help rid Old Trafford of the current mice infestation.

The Red Devils' stadium has been dealing with the problem for some time, but after the latest hygiene report, the North-West outfit could be only the second Premier League club behind Watford not to be given five stars.

According to the Daily Mail, club officials have not introduced "adequate procedures to control pests within food areas".

The report states that small holes were spotted in the doors of the Red Cafe, while a drain close to the kitchen area was not covered, which could result in unwelcome rodents.
