Manchester United secure five-year sponsorship extension with STC

Manchester United have announced that they have extended their partnership with Saudi-based telecommunications group STC.

As part of the deal, STC, who are now the Premier League champions' official triple play partner, have been given the rights to show the club's channel MUTV in the Gulf region.

"The renewal of our partnership will greatly benefit our fans, as STC develop more and more interesting ways to bring them closer to the club they so passionately support," Managing director Richard Arnold told the club's official website.

STC, who will create a mobile app, first joined up with United in 2008.
