Man Utd executives to visit Saudi Arabia?

Manchester United executives will reportedly visit Saudi Arabia amid interest from Mohammad bin Salman to buy the club.

The owning Glazer family, who have been majority shareholders at Old Trafford since 2005, have been subject to substantial criticism over their handling of the club.

Reports in recent weeks have claimed that Bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, made a proposal of £4bn to buy the club from the American family.

According to The Sun, a delegation from United will travel to Riyadh for the Future Investment Initiative organised by the Saudi royal family's sovereign wealth fund over the next few weeks.

Despite the reports, United's owning family, who keep a very tight circle, have indicated that they have no interest in selling the club.

Chief executive Ed Woodward revealed in an interview earlier this month that there was no asking price to buy the club and that there had been no approach from the Saudis.
