Rio Ferdinand has been banned from driving for six months.
The Manchester United defender was caught speeding three times in five weeks on the same road as he made the daily trip to United's Carrington training ground.
The 33-year-old was caught travelling 38mph on a 30mph road, with Trafford Magistrates in Greater Manchester ignoring his plea that he had to take his children to school.
Ferdinand will now have to wait until March before he can legally drive again.
