David de Gea's Cheshire mansion 'remains up for sale despite failed transfer'

De Gea's mansion 'remains up for sale'

The Cheshire mansion belonging to Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea remains up for sale despite the Spaniard's proposed move to Real Madrid falling through.

The 24-year-old was on the verge of switching to the Bernabeu, but the deal collapsed on Monday as the paperwork was not submitted before the midnight deadline in Spain.

Earlier this summer, De Gea's £2.75m home was listed on Rightmove, and according to The Mirror, the six-bedroom property in Altrincham remains on the market.

The mansion boasts a home cinema, a games room and a gym.
