Jamie Carragher jokes about how he would send Manchester United to relegation

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has joked that it would take him two years to get Manchester United relegated from the Premier League.

On Twitter, a user alerted the Sky Sports pundit to a blunder made by the broadcaster, which displayed Carragher's name beneath a clip of United boss Louis van Gaal.

In response to the tweet, Carragher, who spent 17 years of his senior career playing for United's arch rivals, said: "I'd love that job I could guarantee relegation within 2 years!!"

The former centre-back retired from football in 2013.
