Patrick Vieira 'submits plans to demolish mansion and build new home'

Vieira 'submits plans for new home'

Former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira has reportedly submitted plans to demolish his current mansion in Hampstead and build a new home with his wife Cheryl.

The 37-year-old, who is currently the head of the elite development squad at Manchester City, has asked permission to construct a new four-storey house.

The planning application sent to Camden council has claimed that the "scale of the proposed house is humble", despite Vieira's decision to build a basement car park and car lift, according to the London Evening Standard.

Vieira also has a reported £2.2m house in Cheshire.
