Mercedes belonging to Manchester City's Raheem Sterling 'damaged in crash'

A £125,000 Mercedes belonging to Manchester City star Raheem Sterling is reportedly found damaged after crashing in London.

A Mercedes belonging to new Manchester City star Raheem Sterling was reportedly found damaged after crashing in London this week.

Pictures of the £125,000 vehicle were published by The Sun, showing a dented bonnet, as well as what appear to be laughing gas canisters in the front seat.

The England international's agent is said to have told the newspaper that Sterling was not in the car when the crash occurred in the country's capital.

The report adds that the former Liverpool star lent the Mercedes, which was left on a London street and has now been sent to Manchester for repairs, to a friend.

The 20-year-old, who is expected to make his Premier League debut for City in tonight's opener against West Bromwich Albion, came under criticism last season when he was photographed inhaling nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas.
