Scott Sinclair's girlfriend Helen Flanagan 'threatened by burglars'

The girlfriend of Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair was reportedly threatened with a saw by thieves who broke into the North West mansion.

The 24-year-old is said to have been away when robbers broke into the property and threatened Helen Flanagan with a saw and screwdriver before taking off with jewellery and a mobile phone.

"The home was burgled last night," the Daily Star quotes a spokesman as saying. "She is naturally very shaken but is unharmed."

It is believed that Sinclair's girlfriend, who is a former Coronation Street actress, stayed at a friend's house following the incident.
