Noel Gallagher joins Manchester City's League Cup celebrations

Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher congratulated the Manchester City players in person following their Capital One Cup victory at Wembley.

The Premier League stars celebrated clinching the first piece of silverware of the season when they defeated Sunderland 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.

After the match, striker Sergio Aguero tweeted a photo alongside the High Flying Birds singer, who is a lifelong City fan, while Pablo Zabaleta also posed for a picture.

City could potentially finish the season with four trophies as they remain in contention for the Premier League title, Champions League trophy and the FA Cup.
