Manchester City players 'offered free cars following Daihatsu deal'

The Manchester City players have reportedly been offered free cars following the club's deal with Daihatsu.

The former Premier League champions announced yesterday that they have struck a sponsorship contract with the Japanese firm.

A number of the club's first-team players will be offered their own vehicles, as well as film and television ads for the company, according to the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the North West outfit are close to appointing Manuel Pellegrini as the club's new manager.
