Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will reportedly hold a party at his home to celebrate Bonfire Night, despite last year's controversy when a firecracker was let off in his home.

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will reportedly hold a fireworks party to celebrate Bonfire Night at his home in the North West.

The Italy international sparked controversy when a firecracker was let off in his Cheshire mansion last year and police were called to assess the damage.

"Mario thinks it's great the English have Bonfire Night," a source said, according to The Sun. "His pals have organised another do at his place. They are also planning to go to a huge display at Wythenshawe Park."

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the 22-year-old has decided to quit smoking for good.
