Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli plays game of conkers with boy and dad

Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli has added to his list of peculiar antics by reportedly stopping a young boy and his dad during a game of conkers.

The Italy international is believed to have been fascinated by the neighbourhood game and interrupted a group of children and their dads to ask them what they were doing.

"I was with my 11-year-old lad when Balotelli pulled up," The Sun quotes Phil Parkinson as saying. "We tried explaining to him what the game was but he didn't seem to get it.

"Then when one of the boys pulled out a pair of conkers, he wanted to play. The lad split his conker to pieces and Mario kept laughing."

Meanwhile, the controversial frontman is believed to have reconciled with his pregnant ex-girlfriend Raffaella Fico.
