Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has been thanked by an Everton supporter after the Argentine helped the fan's father get medical assistance when he had an epileptic fit during Sunday's match at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old alerted match officials when he spotted the Everton fan, named Frank, in need of help.
The supporter received treatment during City's 2-0 victory on Merseyside and was later taken to hospital as a precaution.
This week, Frank's son John called into talkSPORT to thank Aguero and the Man City travelling fans, who gave the supporter a round of applause when he was stretchered out of the ground.
"I wanted to thank not only the Everton fans and Aguero, but the City fans as well," John told the radio station. "When he got round to the away stand, they all stood up and clapped him off.
"The reception we got from them was amazing and really appreciated. We all love football when it all boils down to it, so I wanted to thank City fans for their support, as well as Aguero for what he did."
Aguero took to Twitter the day after the match to wish the fan well in his recovery.
