Sergio Aguero splits from wife

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has split from his wife, the daughter of Argentina legend Diego Maradona.

The 24-year-old has a three-year-old son with Giannina Maradona.

The Mirror quotes Giannina as saying "we're separated" following what had been "a difficult year".

Aguero has been ruled out of Manchester City's FA Cup third-round tie with Watford on Saturday through injury.
