Football legends, including Ian Wright and Phil Thompson, take on Kenny Dalglish's After Eight challenge in aid of his wife's cancer charity.

A number of football legends have tried to complete Kenny Dalglish's After Eight challenge in aid of his wife's cancer charity.

Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen held the record of three seconds prior to the next round of challengers.

Ian Wright, Phil Thompson, Alan Hansen and Matt Le Tissier were among the former footballers who tried to get the chocolate mint into their mouths from their foreheads in the fastest time without using their hands.

DJ Spoony and Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre also took part, but it was Westlife singer Nicky Byrne who took the top spot with a time of 2.88 seconds.

The challenge aims to raise money and awareness of the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
