Video: Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher select All-Star squads for Anfield charity match

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and former defender Jamie Carragher have begun selecting their squads for the All-Star charity match at Anfield on March 29.

Gerrard, who will leave the Reds at the end of the season to join MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, has opted to add former teammates Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres in his squad.

Chelsea skipper John Terry has been placed in defence, while Bayern Munich's Xabi Alonso has taken a spot in midfield for Gerrard's team.

For Carragher, Pepe Reina will line up in goal, while Alvaro Arbeloa, Jonjo Shelvey and Luis Garcia have also been added to the provisional squad.

Didier Drogba and Craig Bellamy are options up front for Carragher's team.
