Sturridge goes to gig after Arsenal loss

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he went to a music gig to 'clear his head' following his side's defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.

The England international went to see PartyNextDoor perform after coming on as a substitute in the Reds' 4-1 defeat at the Emirates.

Sturridge posted a video of the musician, real name Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, on Instagram, but insisted that his mind is on Wednesday's FA Cup quarter-final replay against Blackburn Rovers.

The striker wrote: "Absolutely gutted.... To clear my head I watch my favourite artist @partyomo Big game Wednesday!!!"

Sturridge also posted a photo with the artist after the gig.
