Sky Sports to add Jamie Carragher to TV lineup?

Sky Sports are reportedly closing in on the capture of Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher for next season's football coverage.

The 35-year-old, who announced that he will retire at the end of the Reds' campaign, has been tipped to undergo management or move into TV punditry.

Sky Sports, who already have a lineup of ex-professionals including Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville, are thought to be keen to add Carragher for his expert analysis, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports have claimed that new broadcaster BT Sport may also be interested in snapping up the former England international.
