Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has said that he is relishing the opportunity to provide television analysis next season.
Carragher, who will retire from football today, will be working for Sky Sports next season, and the 35-year-old has said that it is something he is looking forward to getting involved in.
"I never really had any coaching offers [after the retirement announcement]. But I was getting offers from TV and I wanted to sort out what I would be doing," Carragher told the Liverpool Echo.
"Sky was there and I fancied it. I'm looking forward to talking about different teams rather than just concentrating on Liverpool. I've got a couple of years there and we'll see how it goes."
Carragher is currently making the last of his 737 appearances for the Reds in their clash at home to Queens Park Rangers.
