Gerrard parties with ex-teammates

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard partied with a number of his former teammates after Sunday's All-Star charity match.

The former England skipper welcomed a number of Liverpool favourites, including Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Pepe Reina and Luis Garcia, back to Merseyside for a one-off game.

Gerrard, who will leave Liverpool in the summer after a 25-year spell, scored two penalties to earn his side a 2-2 draw against a Jamie Carragher XI at Anfield.

After the match, which was organised by the LFC Foundation, the teams celebrated with a few drinks, and the likes of Reina and Dirk Kuyt were happy to pose for photos with their former captain.

The proceeds from the match will be spread across numerous local charities, as well as Alder Hey children's hospital.
