Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher head to Ibiza on holiday

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been spotted on holiday in Ibiza alongside recently-retired teammate Jamie Carragher.

The pair, who will no longer be playing together following Carragher's decision to hang up his boots for good at the end of the season, were spotted together on the Spanish island with a group of friends.

The duo were seen relaxing on sun loungers at the beach, while Gerrard's wife Alex Curran, who was without daughters Lilly-Ella, Lexie and Lourdes, also travelled with the group, according to the Daily Mail.

Gerrard is expected to be fit for pre-season following shoulder surgery.
