Fans mistake singer Robin Thicke for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard?

Canadian singer Robin Thicke reportedly gets mistaken for England captain Steven Gerrard in Liverpool.

A group of teenagers reportedly mistook Robin Thicke for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard while the singer was in Merseyside.

The Canadian star is said to have been doing a gig in the city last week when he was approached by a group of teens hoping to talk football with the Liverpool and England skipper.

It is understood that Thicke acknowledged the group by posing for photographs with them, despite the case of mistaken identity, according to the Daily Star.

While Thicke was in Liverpool, Gerrard was preparing for England's World Cup qualifiers in London, where he managed to net the winner against Poland to send the Three Lions to Brazil.
