Liverpool's Jose Enrique deletes social media accounts

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has decided to shut down all of his social media accounts after receiving criticism from supporters.

The Spaniard took to Twitter to rubbish reports that he was on the verge of sealing a deadline-day move to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.

Enrique has struggled for game time at Anfield and seems to be third choice behind Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno.

During his spell out of the team, Enrique would post many pictures on Twitter and Instagram of his various holidays and day trips, which irritated some supporters.

After confirming that he is staying at Liverpool, Enrique wrote: "I thought it was good to share with the fans pictures but I think they been killing me for that. Ok chao Instagram and Twitter."

The 29-year-old moved to Anfield from Newcastle United in 2011.
