Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli 'chats up Twitter user's girlfriend'

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has been accused of trying to "steal" a fellow Twitter user's girlfriend.

The Italy international has struggled to make his mark on the pitch for the Reds since moving to Anfield from AC Milan in the summer.

Away from the field, however, the 24-year-old appears to have reached out to a female on social media, but her boyfriend discovered the alleged messages and has decided to post them on his Twitter account.

Alongside the post, Twitter user @jonataningi wrote: "The moment when Mario Balotelli tries to steal your girlfriend :("
