Apparent suicide on Liverpool owner's yacht

Police are investigating an alleged suicide on board the yacht of Liverpool owner John Henry.

An alleged crew member was pronounced dead after being found in cardiac arrest on the yacht, which was not occupied by Henry, who also owns baseball side Boston Red Sox, at the time.

A statement from the baseball club said: "Mr Henry and the members of the Boston Red Sox are saddened by the news and send deepest condolences to his family."

Police spokeswoman Cheryl Fiandaca revealed that the deceased was between the age of 28 and 30.
