Joe Allen picks Jay-Z, Ed Sheeran for Liverpool playlist

Joe Allen has given an insight into his music tastes by picking a range of artists for a new Liverpool playlist.

The club's official website has introduced a new feature that will include the Reds' first-team stars selecting a number of songs to add to a playlist.

Allen has opted to go for the Strokes' Last Nite, as well as Kings of Leon's Pyro and Jay-Z's D.O.A. - Death of Autotune from the American rapper's Blueprint 3 album.

The final two tracks on the playlist are Ben Howard's Keep Your Head Up and The Man by British popstar Ed Sheeran.

Allen also revealed to Liverpool's website that The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is his favourite film.
