Gonzalo Higuain 'receives death threats'

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly enlisted the help of a security unit after receiving death threats.

The 28-year-old, who is currently nursing a thigh strain, is believed to be concerned for his safety.

According to Italian magazine Novella 2000, Higuain is being kept under surveillance 24/7 by the Division of General Investigations and Special Operations.

The Argentine forward, who joined Juventus from Napoli in the summer, reportedly has protection from DIGOS whenever he leaves his home.
