Inter ban Sneijder from tweeting

Inter Milan have banned Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder from using Twitter, his wife has revealed.

Posting on her own account, Yolanthe Cabau - a Spanish-born Dutch TV host - described the club's decision to stop her husband tweeting as "odd".

"My husband @sneijder101010 can no longer write on Twitter," said Cabau. "It is a decision from the club.

"They said he can't even support or compliment the team. I'm sad because he always gives his best for the team with all of his heart.

"It's odd, but it's OK. You'll all see how Wesley will return to winning ways with Inter."

The pair married in Tuscany in 2010.
