Ferrari honour Schumacher's first F1 win

The Ferrari Formula 1 group commemorated Michael Schumacher's first Grand Prix victory with the Italian team on Sunday while he continues to be treated in hospital.

The German sportsman, who is in a medically-induced coma, has recently been showing "signs of progress" in a Grenoble hospital.

The 45-year-old has been in hospital since December 29 after he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps.

On Sunday, hundreds of Ferrari F1 team members, including team principal Marco Mattiacci and drivers Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen, gathered to pose for a photo behind a sign, which read: "Remembering your first win with us #forzamichael."

Schumacher, who won seven championship titles in his career overall, won his first race with Ferrari at the 1996 Spanish Grand Prix in Montmelo.
