One Direction singer Niall Horan tells Derby County chairman to spend

One Direction star urges for Derby spending

One Direction singer Niall Horan has given Derby County chairman Andrew Appleby an ultimatum regarding transfers.

The Irish teen has promised the US businessman that he will give him free tickets to see the British band in concert in the States, as long as he provides funds in the summer.

"Every time I go to a game he's always like, 'Yap, yap, yap'," The Sun quotes Horan as saying. "He said his daughter is a fan and asked me if they could go to our show in Detroit.

"I said, 'Yeah, that's not a problem' but I told him he couldn't go himself. I said, 'Until you buy a few players you're not getting a ticket to our show'."

The Rams are currently 13th in the Championship table.
