Denmark 'fined for crowd disturbances against Australia'

Denmark 'fined for crowd disturbances'

The Danish Football Association has reportedly been hit with a fine for the team's crowd disturbances against Australia.

Denmark fans were seen throwing objects at the Aussies during their Group C clash on Thursday, while a sexist banner was also pointed out as inappropriate by FIFA.

According to Sky Sports News, the Scandinavians have been fined £15,250 for the behaviour of their fans in Samara.

Age Hareide's side are second in the group on four points, beating Peru 1-0 before drawing 1-1 to Australia earlier this week.

Denmark will finish their Group C campaign against France on June 26 as they look to seal qualification to the knockout stages of the tournament.
