Two Chelsea fans 'victims of racist attack during title parade'

Two Chelsea fans are reportedly assaulted in a racist attack on the day of the Premier League title parade in West London last month.

Two Chelsea supporters were reportedly assaulted in a racist attack during the Premier League victory parade in West London last month.

Two suspects are said to have punched a 40-year-old man several times around the head in the toilets of the Duke on the Green pub in New Kings Road, Fulham.

A friend broke up the fight, but shortly afterwards when the victim's 37-year-old brother confronted the suspects outside of the pub, they 'brutally' attacked him.

"A day of celebration ended in misery with the victims and their family still in shock from what took place," The Mirror quotes Detective Sergeant Clare Chattaway as saying.

"This was a particularly vicious assault with one victim continuing to receive medical treatment for the injuries he sustained when he was brutally kicked in the face. We would appeal to anyone with information about these two men featured in the images to please make contact with us".

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed that the attack was racially motivated.
