John Terry's dad accused of shouting "black c***" in 'race attack'

Terry's dad accused of "black c***" slur

The father of Chelsea captain John Terry has been accused of shouting "black c***" during an incident in London last month, a court has heard.

Ted Terry was charged with two racially-aggravated counts earlier this month.

The 59-year-old, who appeared at London Magistrates' Court today, is alleged to have yelled "f***ing Paki" and "black c***" during the incident, and has been accused of assaulting Amarjit Talafair near the Fenchurch Street station, according to the Daily Star.

It is believed that Terry pleaded guilty to common assault, but denied that it was racially motivated. The former England captain's father is due to stand trial in November.
