Terry left red-faced over autograph gaffe

Chelsea captain John Terry warned a supporter about buying fake autographs only to be left red-faced when he was informed that the signed photo in question was bought from the club's official shop.

The former England international commented on the picture on Instagram by telling the fan that the signed message did not match his writing.

The centre-back wrote: "Where did you receive this from... that's not my writing or signature? It's fake and if you paid for it you should ask for your money back. JT."

The fan replied by revealing that he purchased the signed photo for £9.99 from the club's store, and it appears as though Terry decided not to respond.

At Chelsea's Stamford Bridge store, a worker told the Sunday People: "Some of [the players] can't even write properly - they can play football fantastically but their writing is terrible."

Terry lifted the Blues' fifth Premier League title in May.
