Chelsea captain John Terry has given a signed Chelsea shirt to a supporter who is grieving the death of her mother.
The former England international reached out to fan Louise Heaton on Instagram by offering his condolences and support after learning of the news.
The 33-year-old wrote: "To know I and Chelsea can help you through this difficult time would be an honour for me. You need to continue your mum's legacy and be strong but never be afraid to cry and think of those fantastic memories."
The Chelsea supporter posted an image on Twitter of Terry's messages and the promised signed shirt.
