Police have reportedly spoken to Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic over the possibility of pressing charges against Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

The Uruguay international is being investigated by the Football Association after biting Ivanovic in the arm during the Reds' 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Anfield yesterday.

Following complaints made by the public to Merseyside Police, officers spoke to Ivanovic with regards to the incident, but the defender decided against taking the matter further, according to Sky Sports News.
