Frank Lampard wants to continue book career

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says that he wants to keep up his writing career after releasing a series of children's books earlier this summer.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed that he wants to continue focusing on his book career.

The England international has released a range of children's books called Frankie's Magic Football for youngsters over the age of five.

When asked by the panel on Loose Women if he wants to keep up his writing career, the 35-year-old revealed that he is talks in to create a second series.

"I'd love to, we're talking about a second series," Lampard said on the ITV show. "It's very easy to be a manager, stay in football and do the stereotypical coaching thing, but using football to give kids a moral argument was a great way to do something different, so I'd love to carry it on."

Lampard released his first series of books in June.
