David Luiz: 'It's my style to make people laugh'

Chelsea star David Luiz has suggested that he is the "joker" of the squad, but has insisted that he can be focused when he needs to be.

The Brazil international, who has played in both defensive and midfield roles for the Blues, is becoming known for his humour as well as his curly hair, which has given him the nickname Sideshow Bob after the Simpsons character.

"I'm a joker, that's my choice," Luiz told the London Evening Standard. "It's my style. But I care about my life, I care about the game, I care about the people who gave me this opportunity."

Meanwhile, Chelsea are due to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
