The Bayern Munich first team donned traditional German lederhosen to film a beer advert this week.

The Bundesliga stars, including Xabi Alonso, who signed from Real Madrid last week, gathered together in traditional dress while holding pints of beer for a photoshoot.

Manager Pep Guardiola, who is now in his second season in charge of the team following his arrival from Barcelona last year, also took part in the advert for Bayern's sponsors Paulaner, according to the Daily Mail.

Bayern have won one game and drawn one in the German league so far this season.
